I joined the CARES project because I believe that it is very crucial for institutions to hear the voices of youth with lived-in experience in order to seek real change in the child welfare systems. The CARES project is important because we focus on topics that surround the idea of better supporting youth transitioning out of the system so that they are able to navigate through life successfully.

When I am not at school or working, you can find me catching up on sleep because I have very long work and school days.
